The basics:
El Niño is the second largest lottery in Spain after the Spanish Christmas lottery. El Niño generates over 1 billion EUR in sales of which around  840 million are distributed in winnings, 70% compared to 50% of normal lotteries.

There are 60 series with each 100.000 numbers. The largest amount that can be won by one Series is 14 million Euros. Like the  Spanish Christmas lottery, 70% of the winnings are distributed among the lower winning categories giving players good chances of winning.

The draw is held on the 6th of January 2011 in Madrid.

Tickets:
Tickets are numbered between 0 and 99,000, each ticket and winning exists 60 times.
